L'ordinaire, c'est ce à quoi l'on ne réfléchit jamais. C'est l'impensé au cœur de la vie. C'est ce qui nous rappelle à notre finitude d'être humain.
Le regarder vraiment exige de la lucidité, de l'authenticité. C'est en creusant l'ordinaire, en redécouvrant ce qui nous est familier, que l'on peut l'accepter.
Les images des choses simples, de la banalité, me semblent capables de susciter cette autre perception des significations admises, du réel.
Concourir à une vision claire du quotidien, aider à révéler que l'extraordinaire est au sein de l'ordinaire, me paraît être la motivation profonde de mon activité photographique.
